The Paisley motif
Paisley was mostly worn by the son of a good family, first in England but also in Ivy League families. It was one of the few ties whose pattern was considered whimsical but acceptable in a casual setting.
Here, I’ve chosen to wear it as part of a business outfit with a slight Gentleman Farmer accent with the choice of brown flannel.
